Seeing . . .
We are constantly stimulated by thousands of images every day. Many times if we were asked what did we see just prior to being asked, we might not be able to answer correctly.
In Photography class, we want to explore seeing the every day in a different manner. Can we evoke emotions from our viewer or can we tell a story with the image or images we have captured? Do we exploit the world of colors to grab attention or do we use the subtleties of light to create mood or feelings? Do we go for the Fine Art feel to our image by shooting it in Black & White?
The idea is to expand our mind and vision beyond the mundane and to discover a new way of seeing. Yes, it takes some work but you just might be surprised at what you capture.
